FEATURED ARTICLE:

Everyone knows that a Teddy Bear is supposed to get lots of hugs. Children take their Teddy with them wherever they go - to the park, to the beach, and always in the car. So Teddy has lots of chances to get a little dirty - just like the children! So we are always looking for tips to keep our Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal looking like new.
Brush Their Hair Just like you, a good hair brushing is one of the easiest and best ways to keep dirt from accumulating in the fabric from which the bear is made. This doesn't need to be every day but occasionally brush your bear gently with a soft brush. A baby brush is one of the best for this task and will remove any dirt in the pile of the fabric.
Wash Your Bear The best way to wash your Teddy Bear, if it is very dirty or sticky from the honey he has been sampling, is by using a capful of gentle detergent used for washing soft fabrics or wool in a bowl of water. Take just the foam with a gentle brush from the detergent and wash the bear or stuffed animal with circular motion. Continue to do this until the entire bear has been covered. Sometimes all you need is a damp cloth to wipe the surface especially if you get the spill off quickly.
Rinse Your Bear After the washing is completed, use a second bowl of clear water and another gentle brush. Dip the brush into the clear water, shaking off any excess water, and again use circular motions and gently work over the entire bear until the foam is all gone.
Dry Your Bear Then dry off any excess moisture with a soft towel. Leave the bear to dry in a natural environment where the air can move freely around it. Outside would be perfect on a nice warm day! Then a gentle brush will fluff their hair back up the way it should look. Plus Teddy likes to have his hair brushed just like you do and a brush on the back makes him feel really relaxed and ready for bed.
Keeping your Teddy Bear clean is not always easy, but with this simple method you can make him look as good as new without too much trouble. Clean bears just look better wherever you decide to take them on their next adventure.
